Green Mandarin!

I’ve waited a long time for one of these. Waited until the ebb and flow of my plague proportions of pods was stable. Been having to clean the glass of pods everyday for months now. I seeded it with 4 different pod types for about 6 months. Phytoplankton every other day. I think the tank is ready. I got a male green mandarin. He is already at work constantly eating. I couldn’t get a shot of him in the light because he won’t stop eating in the shadows for a moment. I’ll take a picture when I get a chance. Maybe I’ll subscribe to an algae barn pod delivery. Or try my hand at cultivating my own.

In the darkness he looks awesome! I'd live a mandarin but my 40 is to small to keep up with his pod demands :(
