My green mandarins started fighting a little while ago and I cannot figure out why. The smaller one is a male and I did not think they fight with the opposite sex. I am posting a video of what they are doing. In the first video it looks like he is biting her and in the second video she is doing the exact same thing to him. Both of them are puffed up with all of their fans extended. 5003F5D6-0BC4-4F31-AEA0-E6C90FB6465F.jpeg

Some time male can have their spike broke off and look like a female to us. However female will not tolerate smaller males. I learn this through experience. It look like you are learning the same thing.

I immediately separated them last night and he is in a acclamation container and they are still trying to get at each other so I’m going to take him back to the store today.
