My slimer is still trying to take off in my tank. I've noticed though on one side it will become pale and I'm not sure if it's just reacting to the flow. It's out in the open and I don't think it's the light. My nutrients seem to be fine. The paleness is temporary it seems and I've turned it around on occasion.

It has not begun to encrust the plug yet.

I’ve noticed the same on one side of my slimer. My frag is shaped like a gherkin pickle and one side seems to be a little more pale than the rest. When I received the frag in a shipment it had a pale side, I assumed from shading. It’s encrusting the plug on the “good side” but the pale side is not...

Yeah i don't know why that is. Mine was good when i got it so I'm not sure what's causing it. Somedays it doesn't look bad and other days you wonder if it's the beginning of a problem.
