Green speckled BTA

This is my new bta that was jusy gifted to me. Ive never seen one like it (although i am still pretty new to nems) are these common? Can i easily cut them in half just like any other bta?

Pretty common, from Indonesia. you can cut any e. quadricolor. there's never any guarantee both halves will live, especially if it's still acclimating to your tank.
