Green Star Polyp not opening

I recently got his GSP 2 days ago and it won’t open at all. Some polyps barely peak out and my parameters are really good so idk what’s the deal. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thanks!

what are "really good" parameters? specifics help

Also, GSP do not like change, similar to most corals. They may and likely will remain mostly closed for many days or even a week or two when parameters change, including when they are moved from one system to another (which has obviously happened since they are new to your tank). They also do not like super intense lighting or direct flow. Do you have other corals? how are they?

I have other corals and they are doing great. Do u think lowering the lights is a good idea or no.

I think telling us your parameters and what your flow and lighting set up along with where the gsp is located in the flow and light is a good idea.

It is never a good idea to adjust whole tank lighting for one coral if everything is happy.

Oh also. I know this isn’t my parameters lol, but there seems to be bristle worms in the rock that the GSP came on. They are super tiny I doubt they are fire worms but I can’t even get a pic of them. Would the worms be it?

Highly unlikely that worms would bother GSP and nothing else

If you’re certain your parameters are perfect I’d leave it alone and expect it to open on a few days
