I just had to frag my stylo due to RTN. My paramaters are.

Ph 8.15
Alk 7.7
Calcium 539
Magnesium 1500+ salifert only measures to 1500
Po4 .07
No3 21

I've been having high calcium and magnesium numbers with Tropic Marin Pro but never this high, I just got a new batch two days ago and I don't dose anything.

Could this have been a cause or is it just something stylos do? All other paramaters are normal for my tank.

I do not believe high Ca or Mg have anything to do with stn or rtn.

That said, I'm not sure what the cause for rtn is?

Anybody have some help here?

This is probably too late but it could be polyp bailout. I know Pocis are notorious for that but since stylos are closely related I suspect they would do the same. The “RTN” seems to be localised in the more shaded areas of the stylo. Any updates on it? Is it doing better now?
