Hi guys!

Got my first anemone from the LFS for $35USD.

They say its sebae but I've never seen sebae with green disc purple tentacles.

I heard from my friends that they can be artificially colored? Is this true?

Also the color was very neon-ish purple and green when I saw at the store but it looks very blunt in my tank lol is this normal?

Their lighting set up is different than yours. Play with the color ratios in your lighting if you are able.

That is most likely a H. malu. Possibly a H. crispa. It’s color is natural and not dyed.
