Every mixing station I see is white mixing containers. Any reason for this? Looks, transparency? I can get a couple green 100 gallon vertical containers for $120 a piece right down the road. If I want white I have to pay more and drive 1.5 hours to get them.

Any reason you wouldnt buy green ones?

You would think green would be better so algae from light penetration wouldn't grow...do they say food grade in the description?

Mine are grey and do filter out light

Yes, polyethylene, fda approved for potable drinking water.

White is unobtrusive, clean-looking, and basically all plastic tank manufacturers use it. I think that's why you mostly see white. :D As long as this one is food-grade, I see no reason not to use it.
