Do you have coral in the tank? How are they doing if so? You said you're having algae issues, that's where your nutrients are going. Not because there's a lack of them.

Had a run in with ostreopsis Dinos that killed much of my cuc and my Duncan coral but I have a few zoos that are still alive, I haven’t seen them open up in a long time though.
