Just bought one today. Any recommendations on how best to care for them? Can I feed them? If so, what should I feed them? Thx!!

I use to target feed my green guy with maroon edge Trach (aka Wellso), when I first got it 3 or 4 years ago....about once every week or two. It was entertaining watching the polyps extend to capture the food. That didn't last long....maybe two months Now it gets whatever it can get from the water column. Seems to be happy. I have mine on the sand bed in the front corner of the tank. Moderate light, relatively low flow.

And just so you know....it is actually ex-Wellsophyllia radiata. They had found, after careful examination of the skeleton, that what was known as Wellsophyllia was in fact a Trachyphyllia geoffroyi.

It's mouth is also it's a**.....well you'll figure it out. That's normal after it has had a hardy meal.
