Welcome home, you will love it here (late to the party, I know).

Nice drop-off tank, please keep us posted with tons of photos of your progress! :)

Starter corals ... search for local frags if available but not acropora as your system is still considered "young". Or what you can do is list a couple of your (coral starter) search lists on here ... there's many of us here that could offer free advice as usual ;)

They should be fine for starters ... just ensure your water parameters are stable. Good luck and most of all ... Enjoy!!!

Great aq
hello everyone
Just saying hello to everyone here, i am new to the world of tropical salt water tanks and i am sure i will soon have tons of silly questions for u all.

To make this short and sweet this is my new work in progress in new house i am building.

Tell me all that u think is appropriate to make it better.

Two lights used and actually just installed are Orpheks V4 consoles.
Tank is 243 gallons, drop off tank.

Hello guys, it has been a while since i have posted anything of interest here.... so here is update on my build.
Since last post i have been battling cyano bacteria invasion, ugly stage as some might call it... it is now over and here is an update to it all... good thing i had few frags in tank then and its all cool... slowly i am filling it up with corals, mostly LPS.

Parameters are all within normal, only flactuations i have is with temperature... so need to figure out what is the optimal way of dealing with it.

Anyhow, i need your help now with corals, placement for. as you can see from first post its a drop-off tank and i am trying to find optimal place for all my corals.

the lights used in the build are the ORPHEK ATLANTIK V4s, and the JEBAO wave-makers x3 to keep flow all over tank, which it seems is working fine...

These are the pictures of corals currently waiting for placement around the tank so IF YOU COULD PLEASE, community and all, help me out with your knowledge to place these for optimal growth and display.

Please tag a picture and tell me where you think is best place for them all... and if you could also identify them, since i am new at this dont know exactly what they all are, i know few but as you will see there are quite a lot of them.

If you post an image of the entire tank from a couple feet away it will help discern where the corals are located and possible relocation placement.

Great to see you updating the thread, it's an awesome tank.

Do you plan to keep any corals down at the bottom of your drop off?? That has to be a very low Light and flow area
