Grounding probe?

Are they a good idea? I’m setting up a new tank. I have a new grounding probe just haven’t hooked it up yet. Any advice?

I think they are. Should there be stray voltage it protects against shock to you.

Short answer is yes, you should use it but you also need a GFCI protected circuit for your tank.
