Tank is 72" x 36" x 15". SPS dominated grow out system

Lighting: 6 x 250 watt radium halides in Reefbrite fixtures with 4x 72" Reefbrite XHOs

Please give me your input or suggestions on the above plan. Goal is 300-400 PAR throughout the entire tank. Lights will be ~12" off the water.

Depending on the SPS, you might want a section with a par value lower than 300 if the goal is to have fast growth.

Why would there need to be a section lower than 300 for faster growth

If you hit photosaturation, their growth rate drops tremendously. It's easy to hit that value, especially with heavily blue lights
