So when I took a step back from the hobby, LEDS were just becoming a big thing. I'm a t5 girl but must say the radion has really caught my eye. Do people get good growth and coloration growing sps with LEDs or should I stick with t5s?

Yes! Find a tank you love and mimic. It's just light. I've used all three biggies. All work, it's just personal preference.

I had to watch it again too ;)

Personally, I just switched to T5's a month ago. I had LED's that came with the tank (got it used), but wasn't super happy with them. I do see myself going back to LED though, the Philip's CoralCare looks very promising.

I really like the idea of the combo. My hubby is big into the tech aspect of leds and I like the shimmer. But I'm big into the growth and results I've always had from t5s.

If you do go with leds i would recommend shelling out the money and getting a good set up. I first tried the cheap Chinese LEDs and they only lasted about a year. So i went with the AI hydra 52, I've been pretty happy with it so far.

Thanks. We did a pro vs con list. Aa much as I think leds would rock, the cost is just too much for us since we would want to go hybrid. So I think we are looking into the ATI powermodule dimmable.
