I was watching my tank when I noticed one of my acans has retracted for unknown reasons when I noticed something.:

Are those new polyps growing? I’ve only had this tank for around 5~6 months now. And it’s my first ever reef tank, so any signs of growth are pretty exiting if I’m right.

Looks like it, break out the cigars its twins!

Edit: Triplets?
Here’s a quick question. I have a rainbow acan that lost a lot of the colors it came with. If it were to fro new heads, would they look like the old colors or the current colors?

Thats a wicked good question, and I wish I had an answer haha I'd lean towards the current colors but I honestly have no idea. Hopefully we can get an answer from an Acan pro

Yes. New babies! Keep them happy and you'll soon have a ring of babies around each polyp. It never gets old finding new growth.
