I’m using a biocube 32 and water from the lfs this time, as piecing together a system and trying to clean tap water were my biggest hurdles last time. So far so good, yes I was impatient when adding corals, but they are all extending polyps and putting on signs of growth.

Nice tank but, Do you really have an Indian mud moray in your reef tank?! I would strongly strongly reccomend rehoming it. It’s cruel for the eel and your other tank mates. They are ambush predators and capable of eating all your livestock when they get big, probably too big for your own tank, and this is the exact opposite of their natural habitat which is slow muddy brackish areas

This is as small of a tank I’d be comfortable keeping it in. And if it outgrows this tank I’ll surely bump up in size or rehome, but they do fine in fully marine setups (as in the wild they prefer rocky ocean beaches only moving to freshwater when breeding and young) and with proper feeding routines *should* not actively hunt the fish, so far so good. Tong feeding krill every 3 days.
