This looks like excellent growth. Please teach us your secrets! Specifically: what are your parameters, what do you dose, what salt do you use, what do you use for light and flow, what do you feed, what do you use for nutrient export, have you sold your children to the devil, etc.

My last recent ICP test: Alk 6.7. Ph 8.21. Ca 424. Mg 1398. Sal 1.0255.

I’ve increased my alk dosing a bit and lowered salinity a little. I am putting 3ml of Mg daily still and will probably stop that for now.

My dosing regiment consists of BRS/TM hybrid Balling method.

Alk 170ml
Ca 155ml
Mg 3ml
Balling Part C 310ml, doubling the Ca amount

I add TM A and K trace elements to the BRS solution, 160ml of A elements in the gallon of Alk solution, and 160ml of K in the gallon of Ca solution.

I’ve been dosing TM Phos Feed 8ml manually daily. From my ICP test I just started manually dosing TM Block Iodine 6ml daily right now.

I’ve exclusively used HW-Marinemix Reefer Salt Mix 160 Gallons box, in this tank and my last one.

For lighting I have 5 Kessil A360x and two Orphek 5’ light bars. The kessils ramp up and down starting 12p tp 12a. The light bars are on 100% from 4p to 8p.

For flow, I have two MP40s, one on each side of the tank. One side runs nutrient export from 12a to 6a, 40%. Then the other side run nutrient export from 6a to 12p, 40%. In between the pumps run lagoon mode 35%.

I use floss. And I have an oversized skimmer hooked to large BRS C02 scrubber.

No children but they would have been the first to go.

This is 1.5 years growth of a green slimer nub. I glued the frag to the back wall of my 50.
Nub and today.
