growth rate

I just started spot feeding my acans and prism. I plan on feeding them at least 3 to 4 times a week. Should I try to alternate mouths or just try to get everyone? Just wondering what growth rate should I expect I'm the acan and prism?

i feed my acan every few days.and i notice that mine has grown more mouths wuicker when i feed it and slow down when i dont for a week or so

I've been thinking on doing a comparison test with two same sized frags, except one will be hand fed 1-2 times daily and the other just light and food from the water column. I want to see what the difference will be in the long term. I'll be doing it with chalices but I'm sure you could do it with acans.

my acan started with 2 heads was in my tank for 2 weeks showed no sign of growth started feeding 1 head every other day and in the same time it now has five fully colored heads here ar some before and after pics

no i only feed the biggest head but a lot of people i talk to feed ea head

yes one head will feed the rest but it wont hurt to feed ea head i only feed one head cause the food isent cheap and a lot of extra food gets in tank and it only 12gals so i dont want the extra waste in the tank

My brother didn't feed his acans for the longest time and I feed mine roughly every other day.
He asked me one day "Why did yours get so big?" I told him "I feed mine"
He started feeding his and literally the next week you could see 5 or so heads coming out of the main head.

I've personally always been a big fan of feeding coral and I believe that anything with feeder tentacles should be fed.
