GSP and my snail!

Guys,

Need help! my bloody Trochus snail is sitting on top of my GSP for very long! haha

what should i do? just leave it like that? see attached.

Leave it or take it off
 
I tried taking him out but couldn't. He is super attached
 
Did you try wiggling it while pulling. That’s seems to do it
 
I’ve found that trying to reach under a snail and gently touching it’s foot with my finger or even my fingernail will usually cause it to let go and retract into it’s shell. They usually don’t like to have their foot touched.

That said, I wouldn’t really worry too much. I don’t think the snail will hurt the GSP and he’ll probably get bored and move off on his own eventually.
