A couple of months ago, I did a fairly aggressive trim on my GSP. The polyps retracted, and stayed retracted for a number of weeks.

The polyps have just recently started extending again. But now they're brown.

Will the color come back eventually?

Not a super experienced reefer here but I've been dabbling for 3- 4 years now. Same thing happened to me once when I tried to trim some back a little too aggressively, browned out for close to 4 months, color slowly came back with stable parameters. I was also intermittently using Restor from Brightwell aquatics, not sure if that helped or not but either way the green came back just as strong if not stronger eventually.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
