I've got a new Klir DI-4 that *almost* fits in my sump. I just need to trim a little bit of the bracing on it that hangs over the filter sock holder holes. My hang up is that I REALLY like my sump...so...what's the best tool to use for not creating a disaster of my sump? Would a jigsaw work?

You could use a dremel cut off tool to cut it open then dremel grinding stone to shape and smooth it out
