I won a gyre XF-130 at the fragtober event this weekend. Would this pump be to much for my 54 corner tank?

If not, What about placement?

Welcome everyone thought!!

That's a hard tank to flow – be prepared to experiment. ;) I think I'd try in the back corner, placed vertically

Just think the as @mcarroll. Any chance on posting a picture of the tank? We can maybe help you better with options.

Edit: by the way nice score :)

Me three. Vertical in the back of a corner could set up good flow throughout the tank.
Horizontal from the back could be interesting too, but it might cause flow in only one portion of the tank. You might try it close to the front glass angled down a bit and it could set up a gyre too.
