Hey fellow reefers, I'm looking to get some first hand experience from anyone that is using a gyre in a nano tank. I currently have a nero3 in my jbj24 but the flow is lacking in certain aspects. I know this is a bit of a tricky subject being I'm in a tank a small as I am. I am looking to have the addition of a orbit 2 added to my tank to help get flow moving in some of the super low movement areas of my tank with out turning my tank into a whirlpool. This will further become more of an issue for me as I am about to add an other 10 or so lbs of rock to my tank. So anyone one with any first hand experience or insight with them I would really appreciate it.

Thanks so much in advance for your time.

Cheers.

They make Nano gyre pumps
hygger and Jebao make one that’s good for up to 60 gallons. It’s like 4-5” across

Jebao scp-50

Hygger one I can’t find on Amazon but it’s on eBay - pic attached

I was going to get one for my Waterbox 15 gallon peninsula but went a different route. I upgraded the return pump and added a random flow generator, and now I don’t have any dead spots

Edit: the Jebao one is on Amazon and has mixed reviews. Some love it and some seem to have gotten a dud or don’t know how to set it up. I honestly like Jebao and would buy / exchange if I got a bad one. Amazon is good like that ;)

I think its a newer product and there aren’t a lot of people with it yet
