Is Haddoni the only type of carpet that can pull itself completely under the sandbed or can Mertensii do the same?

I never keep Mertensii but since they live on the rock they won’t be able to pull themselves into the sand. I have experienced Malu, Doreensis and Haddoni did this personally.

I agree with @OrionN......my Haddoni can pull himself under the sand, but I have had him for a few years and only saw him do it once.... because my Red Coris Wrasse was digging in the sand right next too him....and tossing sand on him....[emoji16]

Thank you. Just trying to make sure I have a Haddoni. Have had for over a year now and always thought it was due to the fact that it has pulled itself completely under in the past, I had read that only Haddoni can exhibit this behavior.

This is an older pic, maybe 6 months ago. You may have to zoom in but it's the most recent pic. Tank is in moonlight right now. I'll get a better pic tmrw.

Yep, Hadonni, and I also had LTA's completely burrow out of site before, not often, but can happen.
