agree with most of these responses but would like to add
1) def need to find the source - excess feeding, top off water, too high of bioload - whatever
2) physical removal is always the first/best solution - this removes the nutrients directly from the tank with the algae
3) cheato in a fuge
4) turbo snails - just a couple no need for more then that or any other CUC
5) balancing the system - once a system is in balance between producers and consumers - water changes, protein skimmers and fuges will help maintain that balance - algae will not grow anymore
