Ok, so I have all cayman sun reflectors on my tank. I’d like to upgrade one or 2 of them from 250 watt to 400 watt. And apparently, Hamilton no longer makes reflectors. So im wondering if anyone online here has one or 2 of the 400 watt DE versions of the cayman sun reflectors they’d be willing to sell. I know plenty of people have taken their halides offline and probably have the reflectors sitting in their basements (and have for years). I’m just wondering if I can convince anyone to part with one or 2. This is what im looking for. Obviously, BRS does not sell them, but this is still on their website:

Used to see these occasionally on eBay. I have old, similar ones in the rafters but not these specifically. Also, if you have reflectors it might be easier to retrofit those?

Yes they are. The fixtures are different, as are the bulbs. Same bulb ends, just farther apart to accommodate the larger bulb size. 400 vs a 250.

Thanks,

I haven't looked at them closely, but I used to have a 400w Cayman Sun years ago. I was curious as my ReefBrite fixture is adjustable between 250 and 400.

Hope you find some!
