My hammer isn’t doing well. It has 3 small heads, all I think are showing signs of receding tissue from the base. I accidentally siphoned it while doing a water change with a small hose. I think that head was already going through polyp bailout. I think I ruptured some of the tentacles on 2 of the heads. Any suggestions? I only have coralrx and medicoral for dips.

You can dip but I have done this to my hammer before too. Mine bounced back after a week of being ticked. I didn't dip because I didn't want to stress it more. But if it started in healthy your at a disadvantage.

I would move him to a low flow, lower light area where you can observe him. Make sure the one head does not develop BJD.

I read that headline fast, and it was a moment of involuntary shudder.

There is a product designed to boost frag healing that might help, but will defer to more experienced minds than my own.
