Ok so I noticed the stems before the head of the corals looks skinny. Almost deflated or dehydrated. Is this normal

So I’m in the middle of testing the water.
I’m at the end of my cycle. Tank is 3 months old . I have no diatoms in the morning and blooms when lights are on. So I’m guessing I’m reaching the end because before it was diatoms 24/7
My nitrates are looking about a 10 I’m not done yet tho. I’ll keep you posted

I have had it for almost 2 months. The thing is I’ve never seen it like this. Usually the stems are thick and it holds the heads in place now I seen them skinny deflated and the heads flop around

They sometimes will go through periods where they act up. Your nitrates are a little high. How about your phosphates? And flow?

Sorry I test in phosphorus ppb and I got 29

Not bad but also a bit high. I’d try to get nitrates down around 3-7 and phosphates to around .02-.06. Make sure u have moderate flow.

Yessir, I put a RODI buddy system a week after setting up my tank. I did feed all corals yesterday with mysis and reef roids mix
