Hammer coral splitting or dying?

Hello I have a hammer coral that I bought about 4 months back and this past week it has been closing up and retracting it’s Tentacle and I wanted to now if it is splitting or dying and it does have two heads and during the day it retracts its tentacles and at night it’s kinda open so can someone please tell me what is going on?
Nitrate .1
Phosphate.05
And sorry I do not have a cal, mag, alk test kit but I am getting some this week.

May be splitting but hard to tell without a top down pic

it looks like you can see the defining of two separate heads but keep in mind if it is splitting it is a long process not a overnight thing
