hi, i picked this hammer up from a lfs maybe a month and a half ago, but failed to notice that the ends of the tencles looked kind of 'scratched' i assumed it would get better but it hasn't seemed to. is this permanet damage?

It’s a color variant. They are worth more actually.

They call it a "splatter" pattern and worth more money then your typical single color hammer. Nothing wrong with that coral at all.
