Hammer coral??

I have been given a lot of flack on acoral I recently purchased at RAP. Vendor sold it as a Malaysian Hammer Coral. But many of my peers have said it is not a hammer and more of a Cristata. Josh at WWC said is was a hammer and then we're just hitting the market. Personally I don not care what it is, I am more concerned on placement, as I do not want to put it with my hammers if it's going to kill them. Very confused. Will post as many pictures as I have to try to find out what it is.

It looks like a hammer to me, but I think showing the skeleton might help better with ID

Cristata have very large septa, that's the easiest way to tell them apart from torches and hammers.

I don't know how to take a pic of the skeleton. I do not want to bother him. I love the piece, just trying to figure him out. I think its a hamner or framner.

I think the best bet might be using a flashlight at night when it’s a bit more retracted

Weird frogspawn prolly. I see a few of the tentacles bifurcated, and the acrospheres aren't elongated.

Treat the coral like a frogspawn. I really haven't had much luck on frogs/octospawns.

My hammers do fantastic though. I figured they'd both share the same needs.
