Hammer eater who do you think it is?

What's going on? Emerald crab, pistol shrimp, coral banded shrimp, harptail blenny only possible culprit. It had a small piece out of it then it was all of a sudden like this today. Within a small amount of time as I observe my tank through the day.

Emerald, I had two, and they tore up any new frag in the tank. Dropped them in the peacock mantis tank RIP.

obviously a guess, I heard some are saints lol

I don't think the coral banded is the guy. But I just set up my indoor ring camera right by the hammer so hopefully by tomorrow evening we will know exactly who.

Soo.. Im almost positive it's my emerald crab, my ring camera had of course a lot of footage but scrolling through it, he was the only one that payed any attention to it. And actually picked at it a little bit. No harptail in any footage by it and the coral banded shrimp went by many times but didn't pay an attention to it. So softie frag tank he went, he was easy to catch he wanted to fight my tongs.

Do you happen to have a pincushion urchin? Looks just like my torch problem and a couple of us on here signed it down to our urchin.

That looks like a coral killer with those claws. I’ve seen a few “emerald crabs” that were actually some other species, maybe a Trojan horse crab. They always sneak in and eat coral?
