Hello, today I noticed this hammer with some part of flesh out and the other is retraced, also I noticed that it doesn’t habe the skin that cover the skeleton. I checked for brown Jelly and it dorsn’t have the symptoms. What could be happen?

Thank you in advance for your help!!!

How long have you had it? What type of par and flow is it in? Could you post a better picture showing all of it and it’s surrounding tank mates? Calcium and magnesium?

Is there a coral that is fighting with the hammer?

Are you sure it’s not BJD?

Do you have clownfish that are trying to live in the hammer?

Otherwise, I got zero guesses.

Tissue recession. Can that be Alkalinity/Calcium related or is that strictly skeletal?
