Hello this might be a stupid question but is this a hammer coral or a torch coral? I just want to know Becuase of the care requirements. I know some hammers don't have a hammer shape so that's why I'm asking. Thanks.

Dang. I was hoping I got a 30 dollar torch.
Hey, if it identifies as a torch, who am I to tell it it's not, lol!
As long as you like it, it's all good.

No, the skeleton branches, not the soft tissue.
And it looks like a common green/purple hammer.
Have you seen this coral first hand?? In the photos, it appears that there are possibly some branching tips (which would indicate a frammer). I asked my question prior to the pic under whites, where the color pattern was obvious, in order to help the OP rule out a frog or frammer.

(And there are wall hammers too...)

Relax, the photos are not clear at all and I said it "looks" like a hammer. Could be a frammer but whatever, same basic thing.
Wall hammers also grow a larger skeleton, and this does not appear to be a wall hammer based on the skeleton showing in the pic.
When OP asked if it was branching, I take that to mean getting another head or whatever, which is not happening in the photo.
