Hammer question

Hey y’all, I have this beautiful red hammer and I was courious about this. I just saw a brown kinda dark color line coming out of its mouth and it got detached because of the current and as soon when I got the camera out my clown fish just ate I’m assuming “poop”? Has anyone experienced it before? You can kinda see it the picture below
