Hammer splitting?

My hammer has been deflated for a couple of days. I got it around 2 weeks ago. Today I noticed it has at least four mouths... is it splitting?
I also noticed some of it looks like frogspawn?

Need some better pics and more info. But i would agree theres so tissue recession going on.
