My one green hammer on the left use to be opened quite a bit for a few months but recently has been staying small like in this picture. My Zoa's, (other hammer?) pictured, Sympodium, and Anemones are doing great though. Hoping someone might have a suggestion.

Do your clowns like to rub against the thing? I have several hammers my clowns like to annoy, causes them to retract.

They did on the back one a lot. I wasn't able to watch it much over the past 11 days as I was on vacation but wasn't sure if there was something else other than that or if I should just them time.

Looks like a noticeable amount of new white skeleton showing which is not a good sign. Possibly from irritation from the fish? Looks kinda shaded there too so maybe light? Or a combination of the two? What do you water parameters look like?

Clownfish love them or hate them. They're probably going to kill that hammer. The only shot you have is to add some very benign coral like maybe a toadstool leather coral or something that they decide is a better place for them to hang out.
