Hey so i noticed some buds on the base of my frogspawn.
Once they are budding how do they continue to grow?
Basically if the frogspawn or hammer is covering it from the light is it just feeding off the other branches until it is big enough to open up and get light on its own?
Or should i lay the branch down somewhere so it gets light as well?

My frogspawn has budded several times and has also had a few heads split in two; I advise no action as the new heads will grow out on their own without any tinkering on your part. Be patient as the new heads grow slowly (at least mine have).

I figured they would no matter what, but still am curious on their process...
I guess they are feeding off the base of the others...

As long as some of the heads are gettting light the rest will survive. My frogspawn has grown almost into a ball shape and the heads underneath don't get much light at all. Everything still looks healthy.
