Hang on back Protin skimmer

Hi just wondering if any body knows if its possible to put a HOB Protein Skimmer on a hooded tank?
im interested in a reef octopus h.o.b protein skimmer to be exact. I have a 29G tank with a hood. thanx

Sure it is. I run a HOB skimmer on my tank, and I have a hood. Its just gotta be open in the back, and be able to get the skimmer on the back of the tank.

It is possible but I would recommend an open top tank to promote better gas exchange.
