I just picked up two of these angle brackets. In the end I decided t just go with the A-mount which are much cleaner than the goosenecks.

First I also wanted to hang the lights, but due to cable management and the cleaner look I went with the A-mount and DIY bracket. It is also easy to add more lights later on.

I like this a lot.. Care to share how you made it, materials used etc etc.? Looks like that may also let install some ReefBrite strips as well

While not a wall mount I use these Kessel mounts with my suspended canopy. I like the look and I think you could easily use them with a wall mount.

Rimless - with a suspended canopy to hide all the wires and gear. Perfect esthetic - what its all about. Brilliant looking setup. Modern and clean. Sweet.

It was pretty simple, just took a painted aluminium bracket. Drilled all holes, based on 2-4 Kessil lights and screwed it to the A mount. Then painted it black to match the mount. It is easy to change the hight with the A-mount, and also to add more lights, since it is pre-drilled.

Thanks Montiman. If BRS says it’s flimsy, there got to be a reason. I can’t afford to sugar coat things and have a light plop into the water in 2 years.

Im looking for a minimalist design. Again, kessil should support this for the non DIY gurus. That said, I’ll likely DIY a C bracket with a string of kessil lights and go from there.
I use the arm on mine...

Check ou the build thread. Should be a pic of how mine are rigged in there somewhere... lol

I have never been a fan of rimless tanks because of the cords and lights all over the place. Your cantelever hood and routing of the wires keeps it so clean and fresh looking. It's just amazing. I jist got my 120 G going - but in five or 10 years... I think I will be going the way you did this. Its beautiful.

This looks great and is something like I want to build. Can you give me the details on your DIY?

This is a STUNNING Tank. Where are the wires from the lights? Did you go into the wall and down?
