Currently getting ready to plumb a Trigger Systems CR44 Sapphire sump into the basement. Went with a NYOS Quantum 160 skimmer and have a Kessil H80 refugium light with gooseneck on the way...

So I got some advice from @Dana Riddle ... About my glass lid trapping heat and possibly not helping with co2 gas exchange... So I built some lids outta egg crate material... I think it looks pretty good...

Have been having water quality problems as of late. Having a conversation with @Dana Riddle, @vetteguy53081 and a few others to get things right in my corner reef. They have been extremely helpful with all the advice they have been giving me!!!

Alright, so over this holiday weekend, I spent some more money... lol I purchased a kessil a360x bundle that comes w/ the dongle, solid adjustable arm, and a narrow reflector. I got an MP40qd power head. New rodi filters. Blue bucket of red sea salt and an auto top of unit. I believe I got the 4 sensor autoaquaxp... It will be my first auto top off so I'll let you all know what I think of everything...
My goal is to slowly work my way up to have the equipment to run 180 gallon+ sps tank. Going to go hybrid method with a360x pucks and t5ho lighting. I want to do gyre power heads with mp40 on back wall... Slowly getting closer...

How has kessil’s H80 worked out? Are you happy with it? I have a very limited amount of space and I am considering this light for the refugium. And your lid how’s that working for ya? I was going to go that rout but people were saying it blocks to much light.

I haven't set that big sump up yet, still sitting in my sunroom at the moment. Lid is working out great, light is not blocked at all and it has made an improvement on the light penetration because I don't have to clean the glass! I am however experiencing more evaporation, but I expected that...

Just got done figuring out kinda how to program the a360x spectralx controller... Not sure my photo period looks good... Any suggestions would be great!!!

I'll post a pic of my graph here in a bit... Let me know what you all think...

Nice! Looking forward to see the final outcome. Down the road, consider the hydros wave engine ETM version. Having the mp40’s and gyres under one controller is awesome! I couldn’t stand EcoSmart live, just have to replace the m1 and I can dump the reeflink altogether.

Start heavier in blue and gradually bring the white up. Keep red to within 10% and green to within 8%
