Microbacter7 came in the mail today. Cleaned my skimmer and 2 power heads in citric acid bath. And I got my ato installed. I am already seeing major improvements to the tank after ordering new gear for it. Makes the buyers remorse less than it was when I spent the money...

Ok, so apparently the water is crappy in my county... (Not apparently, it is... I tested the hardness and it's up there) so I figured I would pull the trigger today and bought me a water pressure booster for my RoDi unit. Getting less than 40 psi... Will also be buying some 2x4's to get the basement room built...

So, started gathering pieces to get my basement sump room in motion. Starting with the stand I want to put it on. Trying to figure out how high I want the sump to sit up in order to reduce the amount of head pressure on my return pump. I have a Sunpole red dc pump. Also will build a single stair going up to it. (For mixing and water changes, save my back, etc.) Got 10 2x4's, 25' FMC 12-2 wire, some junction boxes, and a 20' roll of 12-2 romex... I'll get the stand built and electricity ran this week. (If I don't get bored and just do it tonight...) lol

Bet it helps keep your filters in better shape longer also???
To help with filters lasting longer you need the DI flush valve and a membrane flush valve apparently they help it last longer im not sure as I have had both since I got tge unit and I use it all the time here is my setup

Mine has the membrane flush valve on it... Needs pressure over 40 in order to work properly it says. That's why I bought the booster. My filters are barely lasting a month before I start reading tds again. That's why I'm trying the booster out... See if I start seeing some improvements...
