has anyone ever bought replacement glass tubes for the check? I have found a 4 pack on BRS for $21 sounds a little much to me. So I went on to Hamas website and found 25 for like $20 but there for the maple sugar test. So could these works with all the checkers seeing that they are 10ml test tubes?

To me it looks like they are the same. They are made by the same company for the sane type of tester. It just tests maple not ALK or NO3

I think if you want to go that way then you can ask Hanna if they are optically comparable as you are going to use them as cuvettes.

That's the only thing I think might be different is the glass. Because essentially they're all the same testers running off of light. I was just looking through their website and saw how much they are for four of them and keep you where to buy the caps as well you might as well just buy a brand-new checker it will be just about the same price

I'd want to ask this as well, just in case there is a different thickness which I imagine would throw off a reading that is entirely based on measurement of what's in the tubes. $21 definitely sounds pricey to me though, I'd be on the same hunt if I needed to replace mine!

Someone in our local club just posted something about these exact cuvettes, said they talked to Hanna and they are in fact the same thing. Just looks like you'll need your black cap.

Yea I noticed on there website you can get like 20 for the same price as 4 from BRS and even from Hanna. The caps don't matter really. If you already own a checker you have 2 already I just want to replace the my glass tubes get old after so many tests.
