Hanna nitrate test meter

Has anyone ever used one? I have found a used one for $99 and was wondering if it is worth it and how easy it is to use?

Ian, I don't see it. Do you have a link? From what I have read is that the only thing you need to worry about is chloride interferance. Most people use RO/DI, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Here is a link the compares nitrate test kit and they give Hanna good results.

You would figure that is something they would print in bold. Especially since I never worried about freshwater nitrates!

Having worked in the Water Wastewater indistry for over 30 years I can say there is not a good reliable, repeatable portable nitrate tester on the market. I used many and all have their problems.
