There are several affordable TDS readers on Amazon and Ebay that are fairly accurate, at least accurate enough for Reef-keeping applications. The Hanna pH checker standalone unit is only like $40-45 so I'd get it and one of the cheaper TDS meters like this one. That way you'd save a good amount of money and save some time and hassle, not to mention some frustration, if one of the meters goes out on the combo unit.

I am mostly looking to test pH and salinity as I have a tds meter. I will check out the Hanna pH tester.

Thanks

You cannot test marine salinity with it as it doesn't read conductivity high enough. Otherwise, it seems like a good meter for pH and RO/DI monitoring. :)

Good conductivity meters that measure salinity are usually in the $100+ range and in my experience they're a little finicky. If you don't mind me saying I'd buy a Milwaukee refractometer to measure salinity which you can get for less than $100.
