Hannah Alk Checker - New Liquid Reagent

To my surprise I received a package from Hannah today with a new liquid reagent for my Alk checker. Testing is much easier and I'm assuming more accurate than the powder.

Has anyone else received this as well? Any feedback?

i hope they fixed it, i wanted one for xmas but didnt get one due to the issues i heard they had, any fix to the phospahte/phosporus yet?

I contacted them today, my kit should be in its way shortly.

I got them and updated the original thread that was on R2R. The liquid kits are much easier to use, and are very close to what my Salifert kit reads as well, happy customer here

Ran 2 tests with the meter and compared to a salifert test. Results were surprisingly consistent and appear to be as accurate as the salifert although I plan on continuing to compare over the next week or so.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I wrote them to see about getting the new reagent. I got my Alk Checker a couple of months ago and still haven't even opened it because I figured it was a complete dud. This gives me hope!

Their website has a part that you can put in your info and they will replace however many powder reagents you bought with new ones, as well as new cuvettes!
