I'm struggling what light I need to be using. I have the light that came with the Helloreef system. I go back and forth with blue lights and white lights not sure which it prefers. She’s good. Keep an eye out on it. To make sure it she eventually moves into light.
I have copepods in there but it seems to pick up the frozen mysis I feed my clowns.I'm not an expert on nems, but at a glance this one seems fine? They'll usually move to wherever they're happy with lighting and flow, so as long as your parameters are okay otherwise?
Has it been eating? Have you been feeding it directly at all?
This is tiny. Maybe a smidge larger than a silver dollar coin.On a s feed twice a week. I personally feed mine silverside fish. For smaller nems smaller pieces. Mysis also work for smaller nems. Feeding helps them grow better and faster.
Generally they prefer both. They are actually very tolerant to strong lighting provided it has time to adapt slowly. If the lighting is insufficient you'll see the translucence i mentioned in my first replyI'm struggling what light I need to be using. I have the light that came with the Helloreef system. Beautiful!!!!I’m running a RedSea 90 on one tank, and three XR15 G6 Pro’s on my bigger tank. Mine like par at about 175ish for the most part. And blue lights, with a slight mix of white. My highest intensity setting is 50% on my XR lights.
