Not the best pics but my manifold goes thru the side glass. I thought this made it look cleaner without having a bunch of piping running everywhere.
I never get tired of seeing this setup!

This is mine. I hope I don't run into any problems with it due to up and down design and 90* angles. Any suggestions on whether this design will be effective?

Hose barbs are serious reducers...brings your system down to 1/2" ID.

How much flow are you planning?

Thanks for the mention @seastar!

I'll post up a few, outside of the stand pics, of mine... so you can get a little better look at it. I designed it this way to be ultra space saving and still be able to squeeze in three of the AquaMaxx reactors, which are fairly large diameter.

Hey @Broadfield I recently got a Red Sea Reefer 350 and was interested in setting up a similar manifold with the reactors but am a little confused on exactly how they work and the flow goes through them. I know you have the return line going through the gate valve into the reactor but am confused about the down pipes going down into the sump and how its getting pushed through the other reactors and into the display. Sorry if it's obvious but i'm sort of a newbie when it comes to plumbing.

What piece did you use from the media reactor?
I’m using 3/4” piping was wondering how I would adapt it

This is my old set-up, which will be coming apart soon. I have a hard-plumbed manifold, but opted to connect the two reactors that I had with quick disconnects and vinyl tubing. I wanted the easiest way possible to remove the reactors for service and this is how I did it. The reactors can be removed from the system in about 5 seconds and just as easy to reinstall after service. I didn't have it all together when I tood these pics, but you can get the idea of how it is set up.

I know this is an old thread, but quick disconnects on manifold is an excellent idea IMO. I will be adding these too mine!
