Hi, i have an abundance of asternia showing up in my tank. I also have a ton of micro brittles, a 7" brittle, and an 18" red serpent. I am not positive the asternia are an issue but zoas are a little touchy lately and the stars are everywhere. Point is i want them gone or atleast reduced greatly. I dont care about the micrbrittles. Loss of the lg brittle would not kill me. But my red serpent is very important to me.
Ive read conflicting info on diet. Specifically weather or not they will eat brittles or serpents. I did a quick youtube search and found no proof they will eat serpents. I need opinions and experience. Thanks

They won't eat brittle/serpent stars or micro brittles the only shrimp that'll eat those is the Bongo Shrimp. You're beloved Red Serpent should be fine :)

Have you ever kept one with serpents or brittles?

We bought one for our asterina problem and so far it hasn't touched our micro brittle stars.
