To clarify, im not interested in keeping one, im just curious.
Ive seen these pop up on multiple websites, for anyone unaware leopard blennies (Exallis brevis) are corallivores and eat almost exclusively coral polyps, particularly stony corals (lps&sps).
Has anyone ever managed to keep one successfully? If not im wondering why these are even imported for hobbyists. Seems like they are just a trap for people who dont do their research, but I dont really see the point in that either since they are not insanely expensive.

Twenty years or so ago, the previous curator at the Waikiki Aquarium listed that species as "impossible to keep longer than one year". I've kept that species on my "animals to avoid" list since that time.....
